    • RE: Brain breaks in the classroom

      Hello everyone!
I work in a vocational high school where I teach literature.
Unfortunately, I often use break methods mainly to re-engage my students during class — especially when they lose focus or start getting bored.

They enjoy active and fun activities, like shouting out answers in a "Mazinga ice breaker", tossing a ball while asking topic-related questions, or doing simple stretching exercises.

For me, it's really important that they laugh a little — because laughter is an instant refresh for both body and mind.

      Hello everyone!

I am Lidia from Croatia, working as a literature and Croatian language teacher in a secondary school of economics.
I have been teaching for 26 years and am always looking for new challenges. I have no idea how I got the email with info about Teaching in the 21st Century 3.0, but I am very excited about it!

My favourite part of the job is actually working on international projects, particularly if they are related to literature, cultural heritage, and communication. I have been an Erasmus coordinator for 10 years, and I love how it has upgraded my life — by allowing me to meet so many enthusiastic teachers from all around Europe, and also fantastic teenagers whom we all have the privilege to teach.

      Hello everyone!
I plan to submit a project that is coming to its end with this school year, it engaged teachers and students from 5 schools from Italy, Portugal, Spain and Croatia using eTwinning platform. Project is related to inclusion, mental health and literature, the idea of the unity between all the people, and the importance of each person n this world.
But if someone fancy the idea, we could do a re-run next school year, I am sure my students would love it!
