Sparking Diverse Motivations in the Classroom

Hi everyone,
Motivation is such a huge driver of learning, but every student comes to us with different intrinsic and extrinsic motivators. Some are driven by grades, others by curiosity, and some by social connection. How do you identify what truly motivates each of your students? What strategies have you found most effective in sparking and sustaining engagement across a diverse range of student interests and personalities? I'm particularly interested in hearing about ways to re-engage students who seem disengaged.
