Hello! I am Nishtee from Mauritius. Currently the Programme leader, I head the IT department at my institution which focuses more on TVET educational ecosystem.

My engagement with students, are at all level, strategic, operational as well as teaching. The best part is always to be with students, helping them for their capstone projects. I am also the president of the staff club looking at the welfare of staff. Passionate about IT and emerging technologies, am currently embark on my Phd in Education and AI.

Beyond the four walls of the classroom setting, I am actively involved in women in Tech community engagement, moreover, I love reading about different countries and their cultures and like travelling as well. As part of my spare time, I do devote some of my time in fitness.

Happy to connect with all on this platform.

      Hello Ana,

I work in a high technical vocational stream and regular break are important to keep students engaged and focused especially for class session that is more than 2 hours long. This technique do help students to re-energise themselves, making class more interactive and fun.

Using this method, there is considerable change in the behaviour of the students in class, making it easy for the teacher to handle and manage.
