    Rabia Mehreen

    @Rabia Mehreen

    My name is Rabia Mehreen Rajput. I have a background in microbiology, which means I studied tiny living things like bacteria and viruses. After completing my studies, I developed a strong interest in teaching. Now, I am working as a primary school teacher. I enjoy being in the classroom and helping young children grow, learn, and become curious about the world around them.
    Even though my academic background is in science, I have found great joy in education. I believe that the early years of a child’s life are very important, and I feel proud to be part of their learning journey. I try to make my classes interesting, interactive, and full of fun.
    I am also very interested in technology and love exploring how it can make teaching and learning better. I often use digital tools, educational apps, and online resources to make my lessons more engaging and effective. I believe that using technology in the classroom helps students become more active.

    • "Edutainment techniques" A great way to learn technology skills.

      Edutainment is a tool that combines education and entertainment into effective learning. It is a process by which children acquire many skills such as problem solving, self reflection and abstract thinking. Like in the classrooms, Edutainment takes the games, toys and form of media and other experiences that merge all of these into fun learning.
      Basically the concept of edutainment is not new in education. What is new is that technological advancements have created a whole new category of edutainment tools and programming that connect to the emerging interest in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning.
      In addition to helping students develop “media literacy” skills that are absolutely necessary for success in the digital age, edutainment techniques can also enhance learning in many other ways. For example:

      Students can learn anywhere since technology is portable.

      • Having fun while learning can help kids truly engage in the material.

      • Thoughtfully selected online portals give students access to infinite information.

      • Edutainment techniques are a great way to learn technology skills, including STEM.

      • Students can much more easily learn advanced tech skills like coding.

      • Hands-on learning excites students and inspires young imaginations.

      By helping kids feel directly involved in the learning process, they might stay focused and interested longer, and perhaps even help them retain the information better than a simple lecture.
