• Teaching Green, Growing Together :

As educators, we don't just teach lessons , we nurture values. This week, our classroom extended beyond walls as we took learning into nature with a plantation drive.

My students and I got our hands dirty planting saplings, learning about sustainability, and discussing how small actions lead to a greener future. Watching them connect with the earth and take ownership of their plants was truly inspiring.

Let’s keep growing minds and trees, because teaching green means shaping a better tomorrow.

  • @Mishael-Naqash This is so lovely and heartwarming to read!
I totally agree, teaching values through real experiences makes such a difference.

We did something similar at my school too. I invited my post-grad students to work with the primary kids, and it was such a beautiful moment. The older students taught them how to plant saplings and even shared some fun facts about different flowers and plants.

It was amazing to see how both groups connect with nature and each other.Moments like these truly makes a lasting impact on students.
