• Global competitions and training opportunities for educators

    UNESCO IITE and UNESCO Chair Global Health & Education invites to join the webinar "Digital tools for school-based health and well-being education".

    The webinar will take place on Tuesday, 25 June 2024, at 12.00 – 13.30 London, 13.00 – 14.30 Paris, 14.00 – 15.30 Moscow, 18.00 – 19.30 Bangkok time

    At the webinar educators, health promoters, school health workers and other interested actors will learn about digital tools that have impacted the way the health and relationships education is delivered and experienced by young people in different parts of the world.

    Speakers from AMAZE Project, UNESCO regional office in Bangkok and UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education will talk about:

    • The variety of digital tools and ICT-powered solutions for non-formal and classroom-based health and relationships education; their advantages and limitations.
    • How the power of animation is used to support the delivery of formal and non-formal education and awareness-raising about health and relationships to and among adolescents and young people.
    • The ingredients of success for high impact digital solutions for health and relationships education reaching large and diverse audiences and sustainability factors of digital edutainment project.

    This platform is very enriching where there is sharing of good practices concerning various aspects of education. Educators are exposed to a variety of innovative pedagogies, techniques and methods how to enhance the teaching and learning so as to provide quality education. We have become global educators, implying we have notion how to integrate various strategies proposed by our colleagues. Moreover, this platform make us reflect over various concepts such as forest schools. It fully equipped educators how to cater for diverse needs of learners, which ICT tools can be embedded in the classroom, how to sensitize young learners about protecting our planet, to identify our classroom management style and increase our knowledge on new mythologies of teaching.
