• End Plastic Pollution!

The End Plastic Pollution is a school in-person and online program that aims to help students use information and communication technology to raise their own awareness on how reduce, reuse and recycle plastic everywhere. It also aims to help students use information and communication technology to raise more students, teachers, parents and people's awareness to end plastic pollution that causes global warming and climate change at school and beyond.
There are three sessions designed to achieve the aims of the program; one in-class session and two online sessions. In the in-class session, a teacher encourages students to do brainstorming about plastic pollution uses and problems. He or she encourages them to watch videos, share information in groups and summarize what they have learned. In the first online session, a teacher encourages students to use links and QR codes to read a United National Environment Program's report, do an online quiz and give feedback on what they have learned. In the second online session, a teacher encourages students to use links and QR codes to listen to Plastic vs. Climate podcast, use Padlet walls to write ideas and experiences on how to reduce, reuse and recycle plastic. He or she encourages them to give feedback on how help more students, teachers, parents and people end plastic pollution.
It is possible to implement End Plastic Pollution Program as a part of middle and high school student climate education across a school, a district, a province and a country. It also could be a part of a regional or global alley to promote green education. It is essential to do something to End Plastic Pollution; little things lead to big changes. You could thankfully reflect on and act upon these questions:
What do you do to end plastic pollution?
What could you do to end plastic pollution?
What could you do to help your students end plastic pollution?

If you like the End Plastic Pollution Program, please carry it out in your school and vote for me!

  • @Samir-Omara Absolutely, ending plastic pollution is a critical global imperative that requires concerted action on many fronts.

  • My students and I decided to creatively useplastics instead of throwing them away. Below I put some photos where you can see the results.Plastics 1.jpg Plastics.JPG
