<p dir="auto">As teachers we hold a pen but sometimes that pen carries more than marks and corrections it carries hope encouragement and magic <img src="https://elibrary-forum.sdpsg.101.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/2728.png?v=c3p0q0bak8e" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--sparkles" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":sparkles:" alt="✨" /><br />
In my classroom I started writing little remarks on students notebooks not just about their work but about them when a student did something with extra effort or showed improvement I’d write something like:<br />
“You’re my little shining star <img src="https://elibrary-forum.sdpsg.101.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f31f.png?v=c3p0q0bak8e" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--star2" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":star2:" alt="🌟" />”</p>
<p dir="auto">The moment I wrote this in one student’s notebook others noticed it and soon everyone wanted that star it became a source of motivation students started trying harder more effort not just because of marks but because they wanted to be seen and appreciated.<br />
That one small sentence became a goal for many little hearts.</p>
<p dir="auto">Dear teacher friends what words do you write in notebooks that make your students smile or feel special?<br />
Please share your words might inspire someone else today. <img src="https://elibrary-forum.sdpsg.101.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f49b.png?v=c3p0q0bak8e" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--yellow_heart" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":yellow_heart:" alt="💛" /></p>

They respect their students, regardless of their age and skill, and make them feel special, important, and unique.</p>

Yes you are right. Students like appreciation. Just as you appreciated your student by writing "you are my little shining star" you have asked with what words we will like to appreciate our students? I would like to appreciate my students with these wirds "you are Hero" "you are a beacon of light" etc.</p>
